John has been a driving Instructor since 2003 so has a great deal of experience with a wide range of students. He is the founder and owner of L2P driving school.
Renown for his calm and patient approach, much of his work comes from recommendations from current and former pupils.
John recently moved to mid west Wales after teaching for 7 years in and around, Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton and the New Forest..
Currently John teaches in an easy to drive 2008 Renault Clio Dynamiq with a 1.5 Litre turbo charged diesel engine. As well as dual controls, the specification includes air conditioning, ABS, power steering, auto headlights etc. John says “You would never know it was a diesel it is so quiet, powerful and responsive, it’s good for the environment too as it has very low emissions.. The seat adjustment range is huge which means I can get very large and very small students driving in comfort. I used to use Nissan Micras but I am glad I made the switch”

As well as the normal ADI qualifications, John has passed the Cardington Special Test, the RoSPA Advanced Test, is a member of the Driving Instructors Association and has an Open University Degree.
John is happily married and has three grown up children who he says were some of his most difficult students. “The trouble is that your own children question everything you say, other students just accept it”
